Introduction to ‘Other Articles’<\/strong><\/p>\n

This list contains a variety of important articles relating to God Himself and our relationship with Him. They include subjects which we don’t very often hear teaching on in our churches, but which are of real significance in our walk with the Lord, and in our battle with the enemy.<\/p>\n

The Significance of God’s Personal Name ‘Yahweh’<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This article is a selection taken from ‘What an Awesome God We Have – Part One’. I was motivated to address this issue as a result of reading the passage where Moses was being prepared by God to go and rescue the Israelites from captivity in Egypt. God said to Moses: \u00a0“Say to the Israelites, ‘Yahweh, the God of your fathers\u2014the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob\u2014has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.” (Exodus 3:15).<\/p>\n\t

It is abundantly clear from the Scriptures that the longing of God’s heart is that we show compassion to the poor and needy; the hungry; widows and orphans; and even beggars.
